Persuasive Text: Tattoos

I truly believe that children, 16 and up should be allowed to get a tattoo. 16 and up should be allowed to get a tattoo if they have caregivers permission, to honour a loved one, and for cultural reasons. I feel like they are old enough and mature enough.

Firstly, ages 16 and up should be allowed to get a tattoo. Tattoo Artist Association New Zealand says that they won’t tattoo anyone under the age of 18 without their parents’ permission. It is good to get a parent's permission because parents always choose the right choice.

Secondly, ages 16 and up should be allowed to get a tattoo because you might be honouring a loved one who has passed. The tattoo would remind you of the good times you had with them and how much you loved the person. Your parents would love how you took the time to get the tattoo.

Finally, ages 16 and up should be allowed to get a tattoo because it might be for cultural reasons. Your parents might want you to get a cultural tattoo. Cultural tattoos would remind you about your culture and how you should not forget where you came from.

The conclusion of the story is how I believe that children, 16 and up should be allowed to get a tattoo because if they have caregivers permission it's allowed.
